COMMUNITY ASSISTANCE/AID TO LOCAL GOVERNMENTS NCNMEDD understands that many communities in the region have limited staff for planning and program development. We want to help our communities use their resources to the best advantage and to find additional funds, wherever possible. For that reason, NCNMEDD offers our members assistance in a variety of research, planning, and program implementation activities, within the limits of our own resources. Generally, the District provides
assistance to member governments in HUD CDBG applications, development of ICIP
plans, capital outlay requests for senior citizens services, development of
local economic development plans and other, related areas. For more information,

THE DISTRICT ROLE IN COMMUNITY PLANNING NCNMEDD offers a variety of services to communities in need of assistance with planning, particularly in the development of applications for grants and projects.
