Diabetic Friendly Menus

Global Nutrition Services developed a 52 week menu with recipes for the Non-Metro New Mexico Area Agency on Aging. The menus were entered into Nutritionist Pro to generate a nutrition analysis. The menus provide 2/3 of the dietary reference intakes. They also comply with the Dietary Guidelines for Americans published by the Secretaries of U.S. Department of Agriculture and Health and Human Services.

Global Nutrition Services has been providing dietitian consulting services throughout the state of New Mexico since 1990. Before developing the menus, we discussed current menus with several senior center sites. This information helped us to tailor the menus to the senior population.
